Team Collaboration Software
Meahana is a pre-revenue, cloud-based collaborative workspace platform designed to help teams think and work together more effectively. Founded in September 2022 by Matthew Archer, a consultant who spent years leading collaborative working sessions with executives at Fortune 500 companies, the company was approximately 13 months into development at the time of its October 2023 interview.
Archer, who serves as Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, bootstrapped the platform with personal capital in the range of $10,000 to $100,000 before closing a $100,000 pre-seed round earlier in 2023 from friends, family, and a small group of angel investors. At the time of the interview, two companies were using the platform across 15 seats, with no paying customers yet on board.
The company was in the process of shifting from a sales-led to a product-led growth model, with plans to introduce a freemium or free-trial offering and expand outreach through LinkedIn groups targeting agile practitioners and business users. Meahana was targeting teams of 100 to 200 people and planned to price the platform at $50 to $100 per seat per month, positioning itself as a premium alternative to whiteboard tools such as Miro, Mural, Concept Board, and Storm Board.
