Showell had approximately 40 employees as of August 2021, with roughly one quarter of the team, or about 10 people, working in engineering. The sales organization comprised 10 to 12 people in total across sales development representatives and account executives, with 6 of those carrying a quota as account executives.

Junior account executives carried an annual new ARR quota of $150,000 to $200,000, while senior account executives were held to a $300,000 annual quota. Suni noted that because the team is based primarily in Finland, compensation levels are lower than comparable roles on the U.S. West Coast, though he acknowledged the challenge of retaining talent in a remote-first global hiring market. The company does not have a formal stock option plan but has granted equity directly to certain employees.
