Wai Hong Fong grew up in Malaysia, spent 4 years in Singapore as an ASEAN Scholar and lived 10 years in Melbourne. Immediately after completing his BA at the University of Melbourne, Wai Hong co-founded and was managing director for 5 years at OZHut, a multi-niche online retailer. Wai Hong's experience as an entrepreneur draws its depth fromthe different cycles that the business has undergone, from the initial days of dabbling with eBay to building multiple full fledged award-winning eCommerce stores. Wai Hong was also named Australia's Best Young Entrepreneur in 2011 by StartupSmart and amongst Melbourne's top 100 most influential people by The Age Newspaper that same year. Wai Hong has since spent 1.5 years living in Shanghai where he studied Chinese and eventually returned to Malaysia in 2013 where he founded his latest venture, StoreHub, a Beautiful, Cloud Based Store Management System for SMEs. StoreHub combines iPad POS, Inventory & Customer Relationship Management with enterprise features in a beautiful and simple User Interface with the goal of making Businesses Awesome. Wai Hong is passionate about building businesses that are profitable but purposeful and believe that the means by which we build them should be marked by integrity, humility and generosity. Immediately after completing his BA at the University of Melbourne, he co-founded and was managing director at OZHut for 5 years, a multi-niche online retailer. His experience as an entrepreneur draws its depth from the different cycles that the business has undergone, from the initial days of dabbling with eBay to building multiple full fledged award-winning eCommerce stores. This also includes everything from writing code, web development and design, SEO and even running the packing tables at the warehouse. He also named Australia's Best Young Entrepreneur in 2011 by StartupSmart and amongst Melbourne's top 100 most influential people by The Age Newspaper that same year. He is passionate about building businesses that are profitable but purposeful and believe that the means by which they build them should be marked by integrity, humility and generosity. Today he is the co-founder and Chieftain here at StoreHub and am on a mission to support SMEs as they transition into a world of omnichannel, relational commerce and AI.
