Vijai is a serial entrepreneur, innovator and thought leader in telecom infrastructure, cloud computing, edge computing, gaming and esports, and blockchain technologies. He has spoken at major events worldwide such as Pacific Telecommunications Council (Hawaii), SDN and NFV USA (Dallas), Brazil Independent Games Festival (São Paulo), and Connectech Asia (Singapore). Vijai is the founder and CEO of Swarmio Media, a global edge computing technology company for the video gaming industry. He has 20+ years of experience in founding and guiding companies to create unique and innovative strategies to adapt, change, and lead major market transitions. Prior to Swarmio, he founded three successful technology companies. He held senior technology leadership positions in large Canadian telecom companies (Rogers, Shaw Cable and Group Telecom) and played a key role in building the Internet backbone in Canada. He also held senior positions at the Ontario government's electronic health initiative and lead the development of the health information network in Ontario. Vijai is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). He holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
