Nashville entrepreneur Clay Sifford has raised $1.8 million for his new venture, a workforce management software tool called Lasso (stylized LASSO). Sifford, chairman and CEO of live event production company Ovation, said in a news release he built the software to help small and midsize companies managed workflow for project-based employees and independent contractors.
