One of the fun things about being a co-founder is that you get to play many different roles as the company scales. Originally I was half the product management team and head of IT and the one who stocked the refrigerator and the author of our patents among other things. As we began to get customers I became the entire services and support team then we radically scaled that team and now Im acting as the Chief Solution Architect. Thats a role we invented and it means that I get to work closely with our largest customers on the most complex and challenging deployments. The goal is to help them get the most value from Highspot and to gather insights which we can share with the industry and use to constantly improve the product. Weve learned an endless series of lessons with our customers as they collectively define a new discipline in business. The idea of enabling the sales team with content guidance and training is a very old idea. But its a recent notion that enablement is a defined and strategic business discipline with deep products to support it and a methodology that makes it possible for businesses to reach their strategic goals. Were honored and humbled to be sharing that journey with our customers and to help them achieve their potential.
