Janko Stojanovic
Janko Stojanovic is the Co-founder & CEO at Buildcon. As one of the co-founders and CEO of Buildcon Inc. I work daily on creating and managing new and existing products in construction and logistics space. I see my self as a product enthusiast who love connecting, managing cross-functional teams and setting goals that are always run against the clear set of KPIs. Running a startup for six years and working on lots of different projects at the same time resulted in various set of experiences: user/client acquisition strategy and team management, design thinking, prototyping, creating customer/user journeys, product requirements estimations and backlog management, marketing management. It is always a full circle and I’m somehow in the middle. While still in college (Management, Technology and IT in Construction, Belgrade University) I started working on different database solutions used by construction companies. Being super interested in the construction tech field led me to start my own software company Buildcon and create this exciting product that we have. As a CEO of Buildcon, I have successfully closed two fundraising rounds, first one in 2016 when 500 Startups and Seedcamp invested in our pre-seed round and another round, this time proper Seed round in 2017. We also went through 500 Startups accelerator (Batch 16) where we had some of the best mentors in the world teaching us how to scale our business and make Buildcon succesful company. Besides product management, I love working as a consultant for digital transformation and mentor to early-stage startup companies and would definitely wish if I had more time to do that.
