His passion is teaching devices to see the world in 3D. In his lifetime, devices will match, then vastly exceed human vision in every way, and this will change the way we interact with the world. In 2020, he co-founded Arcturus Industries (http://arcturus.industries), where we intend to dramatically upgrade the state of the art in 3D perception for AR/VR devices. In 2008, he co-founded Occipital, where my co-founder and he led creation of Canvas (http://canvas.io), Structure Sensor (http://structure.io), 360 Panorama (http://occipital.com/360), and RedLaser (http://redlaser.com - acquired by eBay). On the side, he do a few angel investments, and am interested in doing more in areas hes excited about: tech-enabled iOS apps, 3D/CV, memory/nostalgia/home-centric apps, software-enabled hardware.
