Prior to Oceanwide, Mitchell co-founded Bizware Computer Systems and led the company to become the leading provider of PC-based business management software for the Retail Petroleum and Convenience Store industries. Mitchell has also co-founded several other entrepreneurial ventures in technology, real estate and hydro-power, and he sits on the board of several companies. He has served as the President of the Montreal chapter of the Young Entrepreneur’s Organization and was named High-tech Entrepreneur of the year by Pro-Montreal in 2005.
