It is also a seed investment fund for early stage startups, based in Chihuahua, Mexico, inside the Innovation and Tech Transfer Park in Tecnologico de Monterrey, Campus Chihuahua. The startups get access to office space with internet connectivity, meeting rooms and other facilities, where many other companies and entrepreneurs interact and develop their technological projects. The accelerator and the fund are two separate and independent entities, working together with each company to provide the funding and acceleration program. Their goal is to take companies from the concept to a capital access position in a 5 months program. It wants the 70% of companies accelerated access to angel capital, venture capital or be acquired. Over the past 8 years I have been in 4 cities in Mexico where I had the opportunity to work with projects in different areas like: Information Technology, Innovation, Business and Entrepreneurship, lately especially with startups, I have participated in +30 projects with different companies always with excellent results. What is the key to success? People + passion + knowledge + vision. During these years I have had the opportunity to meet great people which I have learned many things which have contributed to my professional and as a human being. My engineering background and my development in the business area have allowed me to go through projects from systems analysis, web design and software development to the administration and management of budgets, strategic planning, talent management, design and launch marketing campaigns, working with social networks and start new projects and businesses, all this in addition to teaching and consulting. My passions are reflected daily on what I read, what I write as Blogger and in some local and national media, as well as issues in some of my conferences. My passions: my family, my friends, my students, the basket, human complexity, entrepreneurship, startups, innovation, technology and the world that awaits us.
