Manasi Vartak is a recent PhD graduate from MIT CSAIL’s database group, and the founder/CEO of Verta.AI. Manasi is the creator of ModelDB, the first open-source ML model management system that is currently used in Fortune 500 companies. Verta.AI grew out of her PhD work on systems to enable ML practitioners to rapidly build and understand models. Manasi has spoken at several top research as well as industrial conferences such as SIGMOD, VLDB, SparkSummit and has authored a course on model management.
