Im a well versed Java and Open Source technology developer and Tech Advisor Software Architect at Talkdesk. With over 12 years as an enterprise level engineer Ive lead QA and development teams garnered skills in design and development process. I like to do research help people grow on my teams Im keen on continuous integration systems and like to see a good code coverage. My core skills include Quarkus Java EE Spring JBoss SQL Drools REST Arquillian Gigaspaces ActiveMQ JMS RabbitMQ Kafka and many Java-based Enterprise relevant technologies. Im an Apache TomEE contributor Microprofile.io committer JUG organizer in Coimbra Portugal co-founder of Cork JUG in Ireland and co-founder and organizer of the JNation.pt conference. I did a stint in radio broadcasting at R dio University of Coimbra. When Im not busy in the world of bits and bytes you can find me building with lego listening strange vinyl records and swimming.
