Dan White is the Vice President Finance and Global Head of Tax at HR Block Inc. a publicly-traded multinational financial services company. Directly reporting to HR Block Inc. s CFO Dan is responsible for various finance functions including leading the company s worldwide Corporate Tax Department. By partnering with colleagues throughout the group of companies Dan and his team actively lead andor participate in transaction and legal entity structuring tax compliance tax examination proceedings internal controls corporate governance government relations and financial reporting US GAAP IFRS FRS 102 etc.. Mr. White serves on the boards of the Tax Executives Institute s Kansas City chapter and on the boards of several Companies affiliated with HR Block Inc. He has held an active license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant with the Missouri State Board of Accountancy since 2007 and serves as the Treasurer of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants Political Action Committee. Mr. White recently served as a legislative appointee on Missouri s Study Commission on Tax Policy and is a frequent speaker on tax policy matters. Prior to joining HR Block Dan was a Senior Manager in KPMG s Kansas City and Washington National Tax practices. He holds a Master of Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Missouri.
