Chief Of Staff at Gitlab
I thrive at the intersection between strategy and operations. Working across functions, industries and geographies, I have launched new programs, built global teams, rolled out change management initiatives and defined and surpassed organizational targets. I believe in continuous improvement, so it is not enough to get the job done. Beyond delivering, I look for ways to make the organization stronger and ensure that clients are even better served. My work at Rever combines my passions for operational excellence and social change. As VP of Operations, I'm leading People, Finance, Legal and Operations activities to strengthen this rocket ship of a company, so it can move faster and do more to enhance the lives of frontline workers. I wore many hats as BloomReach's Head of Customer Success for the UK and Eastern United States. In this role, I opened our UK office, grew UK sales from 0 to 15%+ of company revenue, coordinated BloomReach's acquisition of Hippo (a CMS company), ran a global Customer Success Team, exceeded business targets and owned team operational activities. As a HBS Leadership Fellow, I served as the Dir. of Strategy Development of Special Olympics International. I led the 170+ country organization in the creation of its 5-year strategic plan, which was unanimously approved and praised by the organization’s 40+ member board. I collaborated with stakeholders across 6 continents to ensure that the plan was clear and actionable at a local level. During my time at Harvard Business School, I served as the President of my 90-member section. Before business school, I spent a year in Sub-Saharan Africa with TechnoServe. During my time in Swaziland, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania, I helped to launch new businesses. After receiving my BA in sociology from Dartmouth College, I joined McKinsey & Company. Specialties: Strategic planning and implementation, cross-functional project leadership, and business development.
