CEO
He was born in the 90s when the internet was still an experiment. As a teen, he spent countless hours browsing the web. He remember the weird sound computers made when connecting to the internet via phone line, and the feeling of being ‘online’. This internet thing got him excited then and gets him excited every day. The internet went from an experiment to something they use every day. A whole economy lives in cyberspace, and even money is being transformed by it (Eg. Bitcoin). People doubted and mocked the internet's ability to transform the world. Famous economists like Paul Krugman questioned the power of digitally interconnected humanity, while famous investors like Rees-Mogg and Davidson (who wrote The Sovereign Individual) pointed out clever things about it, and how the cyber economy would have a great impact on humanity and people’s freedom. This was especially clear in 2020. But there’s a challenge. Doing business over the internet is deceptively simple. Charging for your product/service online is a bit more complex than in the physical world. Digital companies are exposed to constant fraud attacks because it’s harder to detect a fraudster when you don’t have the person in front of you. Fraud is creating friction within the cybereconomy. Fraudsters attack multiple companies, while those companies do their own fraud analysis. Our goal is to help companies trust strangers, helping them tackle fraudulent payments and reduce friction with legitimate users through collective intelligence. In turn, the cyber economy can grow without shackles, and people can do business from wherever they are, whenever, no matter how old they are. Today we have fraud, but common challenges will always arise, and we’ll be there to help companies collaborate. This is the kind of world we want :-)
