Prior to Car IQ Sterling founded and was the CEO of Autonet Mobile, an intelligent vehicle telematics and mobile App provider that was the first company to connect the car to mobility platforms. Customers and partnerships included several of the largest Automotive OEM's and Tier 1 Suppliers and wireless providers such as Fiat Chrysler Automobile, General Motors (Chevy, Cadillac and GM Fleet), Maserati, Subaru, along with Verizon, AT&T and Lear Corp. Sterling has more than 25 years of automotive experience in both racing and technology. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the United States Auto Club and an adviser to several early stage companies.
