Thomas Kamps is founder and Managing Director of CONWEAVER and responsible for strategy and sales. After leading positions at the Technical University (TU) Darmstadt, intelligent views GmbH as well as Fraunhofer IGD, he launched CONWEAVER along with CTO Richard Stenzel in 2007. The graduate mathematician specializes in automatic linking andintegration of business critical data as well as its intelligent, context-based editing. His PhD regarding knowledge-based information visualization at the department of computer science at the Technical University of Darmstadt has been recognized as one of the ten best German dissertations by the German Informatics Society. He is a sought-after speaker at IT events in industry and research and author of over 30 scientific publications. The Saarbrücken native lives south of Darmstadt with his wife and two children. In the nearby Odenwald and Hessian Bergstrasse, the passionate athlete in team and individual sports, finds plenty of trails for mountain biking and to train for occasional alpine-crossings.
