Augmented Reality (AR) Game Engines are software platforms that enable developers to create immersive gaming experiences by blending digital content with the real world. These engines harness the capabilities of augmented reality technology to allow players to interact with virtual elements overlaid on their physical environment, enhancing engagement and immersion. Common use cases include mobile gaming applications that integrate AR features for puzzle games, educational experiences, and interactive storytelling. Typically, AR game engines provide features such as 3D rendering, real-time environment tracking, and user interaction capabilities. They may also include tools for asset management, animation, and physics simulation, enabling developers to build complex gaming experiences. Common buyers of AR game engines include game developers, software engineers, and entertainment companies seeking to innovate within the gaming space, often targeting consumers who are looking for novel, interactive gameplay forms.

90% of people who try to learn an instrument don’t last more than a month. Notey's World is solving this issue by building a mobile music education game that users can play using any instrument lying around the house. This is done through utilization of an ML audio engine that translates pitch into game mechanics enabling gameplay through music practice. Currently there is an iOS and iPad app that has 3D worlds and educational overlays on a guitar mockup, to be continued with development into an AR experience highlighting where to play and how to play the guitar. This will also be extended into gameplay for other instruments as well, embedding free curricula to be used in-game by users' own contributions.
