CEO
Michael is co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of MachineShop, a company he created after seeing the shortcomings of traditional enterprise software platforms, particularly in the IoT or M2M markets. He has long been an admirer of middleware technology and is driven to provide newer, simpler ways to build and integrate applicationsand systems in a hyper-connected world. Previously Michael served as interim CEO at Document Capture Technologies (DCT) and remains on their Board of Directors. Under Campbell’s leadership, DCT accelerated their transition from a manufacturer of personal scanners to becoming a provider of cloud-based content management services. From 2007-2009, he was President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of SensorLogic, a venture-backed platform company focused on enabling more efficient development and management of M2M applications. SensorLogic was acquired in 2011 by Gemalto NV (FR:GTO).
