As the founder of Therasoft, the Complete Practice Management platform for Mental Health professionals, I am very proud of our dedicated team that has been phenomenal in our success so far. Also, I may be the architect of the business and technology, but I could not have done it without the support of our customers. Our first customer from 2008 is still one of our best customers as we celebrate our ten year anniversary. After 30 years of living in Atlanta, building a business, growing a family and establishing circle of friends, three years ago I chose to move to the Holy Land for Entrepreneurs – Silicon Valley, CA. The last three years has transformed Therasoft and the Entrepreneur in me. Having lived thru the development of technology over the last 35 years while being immersed in it, I have a unique perspective of the role of technology in our lives, personal and professional. I can share some stories and answer questions about the past, present and future of the role of technology that affects the business of mental health. Apart from Therasoft, I also designed and developed a platform for secure payments called TSecurePay. Recently we developed a mobile technology platform called “Find a Safehouse”, designed to fight Human Trafficking, for a non-profit organization called SAFE Coalition for Human Rights (www.safechr.org). Additionally, we have just opened three model mental health therapy centers. In the next few months we will be making our therapy center model available to anyone that wants to start a private practice.
