As Chief Executive Officer for Celebrus Technologies, Simon is responsible for worldwide operations and all aspects of sales and business development in order to ensure that the company meets its corporate sales and revenue goals. Simon divides his time between the US office in San Jose & the UK. Prior to his appointment as CEO in 2009, Simon spent the previous nine years as Vice President Sales at Celebrus, during which time he established both a successful sales team and strategic relationships with several of the world’s largest computer software organisations. Before joining Celebrus Simon was International Vice President for Maxoptix Corporation, a pioneering joint venture between Japanese optical disk Manufacturer Kubota and US disk drive manufacturer, Maxtor Corporation. At Maxoptix, he built a successful international sales team and successfully formulated and established their international sales strategy. Simon was responsible for developing and managing the corporation’s major European OEM accounts, specialising in the Medical Imaging, Telco/Switching Systems and Broadcast/Audio, Video sectors. Simon’s 29 years’ experience of building indirect business relationships is ideally suited to the Celebrus Technologies indirect business model, which enables the company to support global sales into a wide variety of vertical and horizontal markets via an extensive range of partnerships and resellers. Simon’s interests include travel, music (especially Pink Floyd), his two daughters and all sports (particularly golf).
