Peter Matthews began his career in 1991 and at the age of 19 was listing and selling real estate in Sydney. For more than 30 years Peter has served the Real Estate Industry and clients in a range of roles. He was an Associate & trainer, then COO of Ray White NSW as well as a Senior Associate in Ray White New Zealand. He has lead and owned 3 franchise offices, in Sydney, more recently Mosman, Neutral Bay and Crows Nest managing 55 staff. Peter also was the General Manager for Real Estate Services for Fairfax Digital and the General Manager of APM, a Fairfax company, managing over 90 staff and was responsible for key acquisitions within Fairfax Digital. A born an auctioneer, Peter started calling Auctions at the age of 22 and has amassed over 25,000 auctions across Australia and New Zealand. Peter’s energy, enthusiasm, dedication, and meticulous preparation no doubt led REINSW to name him the state’s number 1 Auctioneer. As The Agency’s Director of Strategy, Marketing and Operations, Peter’s role was to work with a strong management team to drive growth, market share, and efficiency at a National level. His passion for change and technology are at the forefront of his objectives. Peter is the CEO & co-founder of Realtair, a middleware platform serving the real estate industry. Realtair Evolutionary technology that provides an end to end integrated real estate sales solution. Realtair instantly creates customised prelists and proposals anywhere, anytime and can generate, send and digitally sign agency documentation, creating efficiency and genuine time savings to Agents and Agencies alike. Realtair merged with Damien Cooley who is the founder of the industry-leading online Auction platform, AuctionNow, and recently merged with legend trainer & educator Lee Woodward's Real Estate Academy, where both of these leaders and businesses have added significant value to Realtair's customers. Realtair empowers agents with innovative technology to add value to their clients & deliver a greater customer experience. Peter’s contribution to the industry extends beyond his personal interests, where he is currently the Vice President of the Real Estate Institute of NSW and is a contributing member of the Professional Standards initiative across the country.
