I'm a life long computer programmer, started with a TI-99/4A that my Dad was wonderful enough to plant in my bedroom. I've held programming and management positions in the computer science field since I was 14 years old (which means approximately 36 years now, give or take). And, I'm blessed to still enjoy what I do now more than ever - still love data structures just as much as when I was plunking in BASIC code into the TI. You might notice my profile background has a picture of my other life, as a jazz pianist who plays out regularly in the local southern California area. This is my second work love. But I approach both jobs with the same ethic. Work hard, deliver what you say you can, always "practice what you can't play" and study your craft! Study the new technologies, don't over-promise or lie about your capabilities and always, always, do the right thing.
