I ve been an investor operator and entrepreneur but not exactly in that order. I ve been in public private and start-up companies and have extensive board member board observer advisor and mentor experience. I like to work hard and make a difference for customers colleagues and shareholders. My career spans 25 years in a variety of technologies company sizes geographic locations and very unique but interrelated functions including product go to market PL responsibility VC corp dev MA and strategy. Throughout my career I ve championed emerging trendstechnologies market disruption entrepreneurial ecosystems diversity and a global opportunity. I m delighted to head Product Management and UXDesign at Zenefits where we level the playing field for the other 99.7 or simply put the companies that power our economy. We focus on the SMB market with fewer than 1000 employees. Our POV is that high performing small businesses aren t about perfecting processes and bureaucracy but instead focusing on a company s 1 asset their people. Our HR Talent Payroll and Benefits platform is purpose built for this market. Prior to Zenefits I was in Corporate Strategy at Workday the 3.6B 2019 global HCM provider. I joined WDAY in the acquisition of GridCraft a venture backed data analytics company based in Boulder CO. I was the co-founderCEO of GridCraft. The acquisition of GridCraft validated our vision product-market fit and team execution not to mention the outstanding talent pool in Colorado. Before GridCraft I was the GM for the GoToMyPC line of business one of three SaaS businesses at Citrix. I had full PL responsibility for the Company s flagship product line. I joined Citrix from Vista Ventures a 80M majority women owned fund focused on early stage tech investments in the Rocky Mountain Region. Prior to Vista I spent 14 years at SAP 9 years on the operational side and 5 years on the venture capital side as the leader of SAP Ventures the corporate VC arm of SAP. When I took over SAP Ventures I relocated to Germany. Under my leadership SAP Ventures did direct investments in the US Europe and India and we were LP s in funds outside the US. Our performance was top tier for corporate venture and subsequently led to the creation of Sapphire Ventures currently with nearly 4B under management. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family supporting the Colorado innovation ecosystem cooking entertaining and running. I m a 10-time Chicago Marathon finisher and a 6-time Boston Marathon finisher.
