I am delighted to be a part of the Zenefits team as we level the playing field for the underserved small and mid-sized businesses that fuel our global economy. Providing innovative and intuitive HR and payroll software and services that are purpose-built for this market I am honored to lead the internal HR team for the company that s powering the backbone of our workforce. Before joining Zenefits I was part of the leadership team at Genesys where I had a tremendous opportunity to continuously learn and make an impact as we doubled our revenue and scaled from 1800 employees to over 5000 in over 50 countries providing progressive leadership at the executive level through a time of massive change including multiple acquisitions organic growth and a transformation from premise to cloud while evolving the employee brand to effectively reflect the culture and draw and retain top talent. I love growing and progressive environments and I am proud to say that the previous companies I ve worked for all made Best Places to Work lists during my tenure. I believe that culture is driven by the leadership team and systematized with strong partnership by HR. Prior to Genesys I was the VP of HR for MobiTV Inc. the leading provider of technology solutions delivering media over wireless and broadband networks where I managed all domestic and international HR programs as we went down the S-1 and IPO path. Prior to MobiTV I led all of Organic Inc.s HR programs worldwide. Arriving at the digital marketing agency in October of 1999 I was instrumental in the development of the HR function from the company s earliest startup days and subsequent international growth IPO and acquisition. I also spent time in HR management roles in the financial services and retail industries. Holding a bachelor s degree in English from Sonoma State University I was also a member of the faculty at San Francisco State University for over 10 years where I enjoyed demystifying HR for a new generation of HR leaders in their Human Resources Management Program. I am also an active contributor to Forbes via their HR Council platform.
