Michiel Hulsbergen is CEO and founder of DialogueTrainer, which provides a platform to train difficult conversations and new conversation methods with a virtual character. This platform is developed together with Utrecht University, where research was done into what makes scenarios effective. He is also author of 'De Emotiekaarten/The Emotioncards' (Management Impact - BOOM - Face Your Emotions), which promote a constructive view of emotions in organizations. As promoters of interests, emotions of employees refer to threats and opportunities, not just for the individual employees, but also for teams, clients and eventually the organization and society. Michiel is a schooled psychologist and organization scientist and has published on emotions in organizations, emotions in education and mediation.
