CEO Tim Houstoun joined Global Shares in 2008. His stewardship has resulted in Global Shares building a global technology platform and has allowed us to transition to a company that is a leading global provider of stock plan management solutions. Tim has led Global Shares through a comprehensive software development phase, numerous rounds of fundraising, securing MiFID and FINRA/SEC regulation and, more importantly, growing our business into a multi-million dollar firm with 15 offices, 300+ staff, $5Bn in client assets and participants in 100+ countries worldwide. Prior to joining Global Shares, he worked in the service sector for 20 years, including positions as CEO of Business Direct Group Plc and Chairman of Fast Track 100 Special Mail Services Plc. Tim is a Board Member of the American Coalition of Stock Plan Administrators (ACSPA) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
