Prior to founding InsideUp, Asad served as Chief Marketing Officer and GM at Liquidity Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: LQDT), a business online auction company. As the driving force behind the company's marketing and business development, Asad was a key member of the corporate leadership team that propelled the company's massive growth from an early-stage company to a $330 million publicly traded corporation. Asad was part of the product marketing group at Hewlett-Packard that spearheaded a global initiative to launch the company's first ever online information services. As a U.S. Peace Corps business consultant, he contributed to the privatization of Russia's economy by launching distance learning programs and business consulting centers throughout the country. Asad holds an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Computer Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
