Spice founded his first business not long after leaving University in New Zealand having completed a business degree in marketing and a postgraduate diploma in finance. He sold this business in his mid-twenties before travelling to the UK where he held global roles for Hilton Hotels International, Avaya and eBookers then moving on to advise severalstartups with their early go-to-market strategies. He returned to New Zealand in 2007 to raise his young family and ran a $220m division of Vodafone, before leaving to found what is now, Marsello.
