I'm the founder and CEO of Names & Faces. We're a Y Combinator (S18), Accel and Slack Fund backed company with offices in Palo Alto and Cape Town. We make visual employee directories for organizations where there are more people than one can comfortably remember. Everything I know about people is that we are more helpful, more co-operative and more effective in our organisations when we're given the chance to develop relationships with the people around us. We don't need more tech. We don't need more AI. What we need is simple information about the people we work with at the moment we need it to help us start conversations, build friendships, share ideas and do great work tgoether. Highlights of my past life include building, along with my two partners, Yuppiechef.com, South Africa's most highly awarded e-commerce business, Project Managing the launch of 20-Over Cricket in South Africa, winning a South African Music Award and studying at Northwestern University as a Mandela Washington Fellow.
