Almost 30 years ago Suri co-founded the predecessor to ARC Document Solutions, a Reprographics Business, Distributing Documents and Information for the construction space. Suri with his co-founder led the company’s accelerated growth through acquisition of over 160 companies in this space to form the largest company of its kind and took the company public in 2005. The company had 5000+ employees with over 275 offices serving 90,000+ customers across the country. In the last few decades the company has gone through multiple cycles of transformation both in terms of economy and technology. At every stage Suri has been able to institute the changes necessary and transform the company to stay relevant to its customers. In the last 10+ years Suri has led ARC to invest in technology to become a leader in ‘Access to Information in Facilities for the Built Space’. Under his leadership, ARC has developed advanced Search, OCR and Auto Hyperlinking tools for large and small format documents in the construction space. ARC technology has been recognized for its innovation in technology by organizations such as the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and the IAPR (International Association of Pattern Recognition).
