Founder / CEO

Matt Hartman

In 1987, Matt Hartman began his career working in his family’s wholesale electrical distributor, The FES Corporation. In 1994, he took over the daily operations of the distributor and pioneered its rapid growth through the utilization of various technology solutions. Between 1993 and 1997, Matt was able to double the annual revenues and earnings atthe distributorship. In 1997, The FES Corporation reached its pinnacle with annualized revenues of approximately $15 million per year and over 50 employees before being sold to McNaughton & McKay Electric Company. During the process of selling The FES Corporation, Matt started FESTech Software Solutions, a software consulting, development, and training company. Between 1997 and 2000, FESTech grew from a startup company to nearly $4 million in annualized revenue with 3 regional offices and over 40 employees. During the collapse of the technology market in 2000-2001, FESTech went through significant downsizing, and in October 2001, Matt spun off the development arm of FESTech that was focused on the development of the Tour de Force product and started Tour de Force, Inc. The sole focus of Tour de Force was to continue the development of the Tour de Force software application. Over the course of the last 14 years, Tour de Force has become the CRM, SFA, and BI solution of choice for organizations operating in the Distribution and Manufacturing industries, and it is beginning to be adopted by other B2B industries as well. Matt has also been involved in a variety of other businesses and has served on various boards of directors. He possesses a very broad understanding of technology, distribution, manufacturing, corporate finance, banking, property management and equipment leasing. The knowledge and experience gained through his varied work history positions Matt to successfully lead Tour de Force into the future.
