He is an experienced innovator in the IT sector, having envisioned, conceptualized, architected and developed innovative large scale enterprise systems focussing on customer needs and transaction management in Financial Services. Giri has been successful in developing multi-cultural geo-teams and grooming talents to deliver his visions as completed products. In his current avatar, he has pioneered the adoption of cloud computing technologies at sambaash for its flagship products - Omni-Channel Commerce, Innovation Acceleration Platform and the Future of Work platform- which utilizes a handful cloud technologies that leverages social & digital media technologies, web2.0, HTML5, NOSQL, DIstributed databases apart from traditional Java/J2EE technologies. He comes from a background of being well versed in the nuances of SOA, BPM, Web2.0 and other similar technologies whilst also being at ease in conveying the benefits of the technology solution to convince the user community, as part of the sales process that he managed. In the past, Giri has helped Banks in developing innovative integration architecture to address mutli-channel banking and retail banking with a focus on customer centricity, achieved through the optimized mix of operational CRM and transaction management. He has also helped Banks adopt RDBMS based real time OLTP Core Banking systems for large scale of operations and multi-million volumes of transactions and customers. In his last role at SunGard System Access, he was part of the Senior Management team, as Vice President of Product Development of Banking solution, fulfilling the role of the CTO. Giri received his B.Engg with Honors in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, India.
