Ankarino Lara
I've spent last two decades building content management systems and online engagement experiences for the most demanding of brands and agencies. Over time, I've specialized in aligning quickly evolving consumer trends with marketer demands, integrated mobile first technologies and ensured that UGC and EGC content is a constant throughout. Thismoment’s Content Cloud provides ‘Content on Demand’ to fortune 500 companies for a variety of use cases. These enterprises find, mix, and share owned and earned content through playlists and power myriad applications from traditional one-2-many brand marketing end points to enabling influencers and reps with one-2-one content feeds to drive action and conversion. Before founding Thismoment, I ran product development for the Yahoo! Entertainment portfolio and before that for the CNET Networks Entertainment group (GameSpot, TV.com, MP3.com). In both environments I excelled at achieving success across departments and in partnering with complimentary business units. That's all to say, I'm a people person. After founding Thismoment I've since become a mentor at Amplify.la, a premier start-up accelerator in Venice Beach, California. In a former life, I hold degrees in Archaeology and Social Anthropology from Harvard University and have spent many months over many years excavating Mayan temples, deciphering hieroglyphics as an epigrapher, and cataloging antiquities at the Peabody Museum. When not on or around tarmacs I can be found in Southern California building LEGOs, playing videogames, eating tacos, or swimming with my family.
