As VP of Product, Avatar, Bjorn Book-Larsson leads Roblox’s technical and product strategy for Avatar and Identity initiatives. Bjorn previously served as HTC’s VP of Product for Virtual Reality software platforms. Prior to that, he spent 17 years in the game industry as a CTO and CEO, leading the development of “All Points Bulletin: Reloaded,”“Hawken,” and other free-to-play PC, Xbox, and PS4 titles. He was the technical founder of the first global skill game platform (“SkillJam”) and has built and managed technical and product teams in the U.S., Taiwan, England, Scotland, Turkey, and India. Bjorn holds a BS in Mathematical Sciences/Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed the Chief Technology Officer program at the Haas School Business at UC Berkeley.
