Technology entrepreneur with a wide range of experience in sales, business planning, funding, and managing technical teams from ideation to commercialization. Very proud to have been recognized by Startup Canada in 2014 as the 'Canadian Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Builder of the Year', in 2016 as an inductee of the 'CBC Future 40', and in 2017 by Startup Canada as the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' for the Prairies. He believe it's important to leave things a little better than you found them, and that you have to invest ahead of returns in both business and the community. He have been volunteering as part of Winnipeg's grassroots startup/innovation/research ecosystem for over 5 years to help catalyze growth in these critical sectors. As a Founding Board Member of North Forge, and a Co-Founder and former Chair of Startup Winnipeg (Ramp Up Manitoba, AssentWorks, Innovation Alley) he is dedicated to increasing the number of technology-driven startups in Manitoba. These grassroots, entrepreneur-led organizations are focused on colliding talent, ideas, and equipment to help ideas off the ground. The City of Winnipeg has officially named the street North Forge inhabits, 'Innovation Alley'. In his role as Co-Founder and CEO of the award-winning platform 'Permission Click', he wake up every day focused on accelerating the internal operations of K-12 districts. Their School Edition delivers digital permission slips, forms, and payment collection between schools and parents. Their District Edition powers internal forms, workflow management, template sharing, district-wide visibility and more.
