In 2015, while completing my Master’s degree in Design & Technology, I joined Fabrice Grinda and the FJ Labs team as Chief of Staff. Over the course of two years, we went from 150 to 250 investments and deployed over $100M USD. At the time, we used Excel to manage our portfolio companies. I was personally in charge of creating LP reports, analyzing capital deployment, and creating statistics regarding fund efficiency. Because of my solid background in design and technology, Fabrice and the team asked me to build a cloud solution that would help us to increase the fund's performance. And, this is how Kushim was born.
