Durand serves as CEO of Ping Identity, which he founded in 2002 to secure the internet through identity. He has since grown the company into a leading provider of enterprise identity security and protects over 2 billion accounts serving over 60% of the Fortune 100. Durand also founded the Identiverse conference, now in its 11th year, to foster knowledge sharing and solutions across the identity industry. Durand founded a number of software companies, including Jabber which was sold to Cisco. He holds a BA in Biology and Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and lives in Denver, Colorado, with his wife Kim and two daughters.
