Jon is the CEO & Founder of Kittyhawk, providing enlightened drone operations software to UAV operators and large commercial UAV teams spanning insurance, inspection, construction, energy, media and entertainment industries. Jon is a certified commercial drone pilot as part of FAA Part 107 and a founding member of the FAA UAS Safety Team. He graduated from TCU with a major in business, received his MBA from Thunderbird Global School of Management (ASU), a self-taught iOS developer and writes about drone topics for technology news site VentureBeat, TechCrunch, and Forbes. Jon also regularly speaks and drone industry and technology events such as Commercial UAV Expo Europe, 2B Ahead Future Congress Germany, and DJI AirWorks.
