Prior to that, he started his own software services company, Information Mosaic, and held various senior commercial responsibilities at Cap Gemini-Hoskyns in Ireland, Great Britain, and the United States. He also worked as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in both Ireland and the Cayman Islands . He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a first class degree in Economics from the University of Ulster and an MBA from University College Dublin.
