Glen is a recognised innovator and entrepreneur in enterprise technology for customer engagement. His businesses have all been founded on a single idea to change customer engagement for the better. Glen has developed these businesses with a steadfast commitment to creating best-in-class technology leading the enterprise market with new game-changing concepts and AI-infused software. Armed with his experience working within the Xerox digital publishing empire Glen founded and privately funded his first company Geneva Digital. GD created customer communication innovations for the emerging D2C banking and insurance sectors. Geneva Digital was acquired by Xenos Group in 1999. Xenos developed new forms of digital communication. Further to its acquisition of Geneva Digital Glen was appointed President and CEO. He left Xenos to found Thunderhead in 2001. Glen established Thunderhead to develop a new generation of enterprise technology for customer engagement. Sitting under the Thunderhead umbrella Smart Communication s multichannel business platform pioneered - and became the established market leader in - Customer Communication Management CCM. In this time Smart Communications transformed from UK-based start-up to a global cloud-based technology company with hundreds of customers around the world operating across Europe North America Asia Pacific and Australia. In 2016 Glen sold Smart Communications to the San Francisco based Private Equity firm Accel-KKR. Glen then established the next generation of Thunderhead technology continuing his vision to change customer engagement for the better. With the development HQ in Boston Glen and the team developed the ONE Engagement Hub ONE a cutting-edge AI-driven customer engagement platform designed to help brands deliver real-time engagement across every touchpoint throughout every unique customer journey. In 2018 Thunderhead entered into an OEM agreement with Salesforce placing ONE within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. ONE is now globally marketed by Salesforce as Interaction Studio IS. Now with over 120 employees Thunderhead continues to be recognised for its unparalleled growth and innovation. Thunderhead is the established leader in the Forrester Wave for Customer Journey Orchestration and Visioning and a winner of the coveted CRM Watchlist award.
