As a physical therapist I have over 30 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy and cardiac rehabilitation in a variety of settings including acute hospital acute rehab home health care skilled nursing subacute care and outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine. I currently serve as Chiel Business Development Officer RCM at WebPT. Until 2018 I served as President and CEO of BMS Practice Solutions rehabilitation technology and services company specializing in practice and patient management web-based software solutions rehab revenue cycle management and Medicare compliance. I graduated from the USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy in 1980. From 1983 to 1997 I owned and operated Peachwood Physical Therapy Corporation in Glendora California a large outpatient sports and spine center serving the eastern San Gabriel Valley. I left my practice in 1997 to help launch Team Spinnaker which later became WorkWell Systems and BMS Practice Solutions. I am a former member of the APTA Board of Directors and has served as a Trustee of the Foundation for Physical Therapy and Finance Officer of the California Physical Therapy Association as well as serving on many Chapter task forces and committees. I am the past Chairman of the California Chapter of the Private Practice Special Interest Group. In addition I am a member of several major professional sports medicine physical therapy and orthopedic organizations. Hobbies and other interests include cooking working out Whole30paleo lifestyle travel reading sprint kart racing. I enjoy connecting with colleagues and those working in healthcare economics and healthcare information technology.
