BIO

"The only source of knowledge is experience" Albert Einstein As a Vice President and Chief Analytic Scientist of FICO with 20+ years of experience in machine learning and predictive modeling, I am responsible for the analytic development and strategic execution of emerging market solutions. I have the pleasure and privilege of leading the FICO Cognitive Analytics group, a world-class interdisciplinary analytics team of 10+ PhDs scientists with backgrounds in machine learning, statistics, computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, and operations research. With a strong focus on analytic innovation, my team is highly dedicated to the holistic integration of AI approaches for data-driven decision making. We work with state-of-the-art supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning methods, natural language processing, connected data analysis, deep learning, and cognitive science, to design and implement data-driven decision-making systems, both stand-alone and cloud-based, across a wide range of uses cases and applications. Some of the interesting projects and products I have worked on over the recent years include: - Anti-Money Laundering Detection and Compliance Solutions for the bank industry - Predictive Modeling of Fraud, Waste, and Abuse for the financial and insurance industries - AI Data-driven Clinical Decision Support Services for healthcare - Anti-Terrorism and Illicit Human Activity Detection for government and defense applications - ID Proofing and Authentication for mobile devices and cloud services - Cognitive Clustering and Data Segmentation Using Topological Data Analysis for machine learning applications - Cloud Platform Analytics Integration using Kubernetes. As a technological strategist, I believe in the use of innovation and AI to help create better and safer decisions. I am enthusiastic about sharing my experience and knowledge, contributing to our community by building solutions that behave like human assistants rather than software tools.
