I am sought to start or revive a software business or product line by creating innovation. Whether it is leveraging new technology and/or the latest processes and tools, I've led teams to bring engaging and profitable products to market. The latest team Im leading has created an efficient means to create, deploy and manage configurable AI applications that process streams of data at a variety of volumes and velocities. The product executes predictive and optimization technologies (such as those provided by FICO) over a distributed processing and messaging platform to give businesses the edge in their digital transformation. In addition to starting software businesses, I have also revived product lines. The most recent example is a loan origination product line that had zero pipeline and tough decisions on where to go next. After selecting a RAD platform, I led the team through an agile process to deliver a compelling product that now has FICO back in the loan origination application business. Using the RAD platform, we delivered the product with a fourth of the development hours, one third of the timeline and half the FTEs over a build-from-scratch approach using open source technologies. My focus is on delivering innovative products with an eye on commercial success. Doing so not only involves leading teams of developers, quality assurance and writers, but also managing intellectual property and technology partnerships. I also provide support to product managers when working with marketing and sales. For early stage ventures I have also assisted in the creation of the business plan and raising capital necessary to launch the venture. It is the right mix of business and technology that wins in the market today.
