I believe in compassionate leadership. Developing teams built on trust and psychological safety. Great teams are made up of diverse people who can speak their core truth. I am most proud of seeing people I have worked with doing amazing things in their professional lives. I want to be part of a team that builds a "100 year company"; one that truly cares about it's employees and customers. My current role as President of the Americas for Xero enables me to achieve these goals. Before joining Xero I ran the ANZ Sales Organisation for Dropbox, LinkedIn and Asia Pacific for SurveyMonkey. Prior to this I was the founder of a successful cloud start-up, an experience which enabled me to build on my previous experience as COO and CMO for Microsoft Australia where I had full P&L responsibility of a $1 Billion+ business. In each of these roles I was primarily focused on developing great teams, building and growing both new and existing businesses, and accelerating revenues. I spent 10 years serving in key leadership roles at Microsoft which included running large sales, marketing and technical teams and managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets. I was part of the global Microsoft High Potential program for the top 1% of Microsoft Managers. Before I began my IT career, I was fortunate to travel the world as a member of the Canadian National Cycling Team.
