Founder and CEO of Looper from February 1982 to November 1989. Amy Looper, Co-Founder/COO of OneSeventeen Media, PBC, is an AI EdTech/MedTech social venture entrepreneur. She and her partners grew their first tech company 8,164% in 35 months resulting in a $158M IPO. Today, having raised over $.6M in seed funding, OneSeventeen Media launched a suite of AI-powered, evidence-based mobile apps called reThinkIt! and ThinkingApp, that help PreK - 12th grade students make smarter behavior decisions that helps make schools safer. reThinkIt! for Employee Benefit Programs is a digital mental health platform using chatbot assistants to help employee-parent's kids process difficult emotions in real-time. Additionally, she shared how the core components of their products helped potentially avert a school shooting in one of the largest Urban school districts in the country. OneSeventeen Media is Texas’ first Certified B Corp, recently becoming a Public Benefit Corporation. They are B Lab 2015 and 2016 Best For The World Awardees.
